Which one is the bigger piece of shit?
what color were the cars you test drove?
Well, how'd the civic drive?
how did u like the gigantic dash on the civic?
what did you think and why aren't you answering any questions?
Si Sedan was Red. it was the only Si Sedan they had on the lot.
The Fit was like a dark silver.
The Civic really surprised me. The suspension was a lot stiffer than I thought Honda would make it, and I really loved how it drove. As always, Honda's gearboxes are smooth as shit, and fun to drive. The powerband was really smooth as well, and it was a pretty quick car.
AND I was surprised at how much room there is inside. Big enough for me to drive it and the wifey to sit behind me, comfortably. I'm 5'11", so about average, but it was bigger inside than my WRX.
my WRX has been fucking up lately, and it might need 4 new rotors. THinking about getting something new instead of pouring more money in it.
I'm actually thinking about getting a 6-speed v6 accord, but they had none to drive. But the civic Si AND the fit were both really nice cars.
thats the first thing I thought when I sat in it. My old roomate had an 06 civic 2-door, and the dash was huge. I thought it might be smaller in the sedan, but it seemed even fucking bigger. Its awkward, but i'd get used to it, wouldnt stop me from buying the car.
Well I still havent driven a 6-speed accord v6, but to be honest, I'd buy either one of the cars I drove tonight in a heartbeat. I love honda.
I really don't understand how the fit is such a roomy car inside. 4 adults can fit in full comfort, and it still has a pretty big trunk area.
All questions thus far have now been responded to.
We went with the Fit, since there is no Civic hatch.
why do you like shitty, boring cars?
6 speed accord coupe is tits
Unrelated, but I am getting my first Honda on thursday. New.
lol, i went car shopping with a friend recently, he ended up getting the Si.
I found the chassis surprisingly stiff as well, what do you think of the steering power assist? takes some getting used to imo, I was also surprised that (up here anyway) theres no really low end base models anymore - i.e. manual locks, windows, mirrors, cheap stereo.... everything comes standard now
I did the same thing and bought a fit.
In the same color you drove
How'd you like the fit?
6 speed accord is nice, but I bought a Mazdaspeed 3 over it. More power, better suspension, roomier, just felt like a better car, and cheaper at that. It's worth a shot.
I only got to drive it for about 10 minutes, but the chassis was stiff and i was a big fan. As for the steering power assist...i mean i guess it kind of made the car feel too light, but at the same time, it felt really agile. When I got back into my WRX to drive home, my wrx felt like a fucking 20 ton boat.
The fit is fucking incredible. There is no other car in the Fits class or price range that I would ever consider buying, after driving it and playing around with it. The "magic seats", or whatever they call them, are really convenient. Fold flat all the way to the floor with ease.
The only gripes I have are, it isnt very fast (not that its supposed to be), and the seats are kind of cheap feeling and uncomfortable. But i'd still buy the fuck out of it.,
I want a sedan this time. My first two cars were 2-door cars, my current one is a 4-door, and i really prefer the 4 door.
The front seats' cheapness and lack of any legroom in the back swerved me away from it and into the Element i'm getting.
