It never gets old
whats it about, my school has is blocked
it's the cop having a ND just inches from an arrested suspect's head. reason 987238798 i hate cops
I wonder what disciplinary action was handed to her for that.
thats sooo old.
Yea me to. You know every cop has almost shot someone before by mistake.
ive heard a number of stories from range officers and some cop friends that there are a lot of police officers that can barely hit a target at 5-7m makes you wonder WHY?!?!?! its just a tool that cops have in their tool box... you dont see carpenters out there that cant use a fuckin hammer...???
why is there not a requirement to have gun control and shoot tight groups, before the state lets you strap one to ur belt...???
You must pass the academy , and qualify annually
you should have to qualify daily
i kinda lost my own point in that post...
my question was supposed to be more along the lines of - why many cops dont treat their sidearm like a carpenter treats his hammer (fair enough that they dont use it as often) but the hammer isnt used to save lives... if i were an leo, and not a proficient shooter (by my own standards) ide train till i were...
Ah, but they are alike. A carpenter hardly ever drops his hammer, and neither do most cops.
ive only had experiences with aus cops; eg. on the weekend went to the pistol range for the first time to check it out (very difficult to get a pistol here, but thats another story) during the tour the range officer was telling me that the local cops use their range for training etc, he then went on to tell me that the majority of them can barely hit the paper at 7-10m...! and they are usually the unsafest bunch people, leaving guns around loaded, and apparently its rather common of them to shoot the ground while trying to holster their pistol... i was shocked but also humoured by some of the stories about the cops...
