Ridiculous amount of space and new interface ftmfw.
pics? i've never seen an IRL photo
im happy with my 80gb video ipod
those things are sick, how much are they going for, 350?
I got the 80gb version
Now they just need some good cases for them.
i don't see why you can't use the old cases, at least for the 160 gb, because the 80 gb is almost the same size
and yeah, i have a black one, i'll post a pic later tonight.
I've got one for the 60gb...but it doesn't fit it exactly...the ipod is too thin, so i am getting fuzz and trash in the back of the case.
I thought about getting one. Loading every CD I own on it, and just docking it with me stereo at home, or using it in the car. But I tried one out at the Apple store, and it kinda lagged.
Not any more than the older HD based iPods, imo. If you don't like lag, go get a nano or iPod touch.
I have an 80gb that is too small. Looking forward to grabbing a 160gb.
I gotta be honest, I hate the new design. I like the black & polish aluminum look to the prior models. Should've just made it thinner.
Yeah I agree, but they just got scratched way too easily. You can tell by the design of the new one that it's not going to be a problem.
Album art is displayed at a 3/4 view with a slight reflection now. Plus there's now coverflow support.
I have an 80 gig, love it so far.
It could be that I am used to my nano, and that is why I think there is a lag
I noticed this in the store also, so it's definately not just you. Now when I got my silver 160 home, it didnt have that lag problem. I'm thinking that since those store models gets played with so muchm they are bound to be screwed up.
i like the new nanos. the classic ipods are cool, but a little too big for my taste
they're like the size of a wheat thin. they're so small i think i'd be afraid of losing it somewhere.
i agree now that i've played with mine more. it actually lags less than my previous 5G 30gig, especially when skipping through songs.
update on the case issue:
i got myself some "invisible armor" for my classic, which is basically a thin plastic covering that fits like a snug glove over the front and back. kind of a pain in the ass to put on correctly, but it's nice that it's protected without a big bulky case.
and i don't have my camera cable with me here in SLC. i'll post a pic when i get home later this week.
The only lag I see is when I turn off the hold switch.
