1) The seal biting the pole is great, of course.
2) Seeing shit like this makes me giggle every time I hear about how anal some people are with their gear.
Love the seal bite.
about #2...thats usually hobbyists or privateers who paid through their nose to gather up their 10-15K worth of gear...and 1/2 of them are hiding it from their wives.
Each lens is like the Hope diamond, and every little fleck of dust is as freakworthy as if you fired a massive snot rocket into a Nasa clean room.
Any time I've worked with pros, or people who actually shoot for $$, they treat their gear only slightly better than most ppl treat a rental car.
Like no one purposely drives into a lamp post, or throws it into forward while you're still moving in reverse....but hey, sometimes you're in a hurry...
yeah i notice that too. i am very anal with my shit, cuz i paid hard earned money for it.
then i see freelance photographers throw their d700 20ft in to their car as they get ready to leave
that's f'n GREAT
im this one... lol
he really is....i freak out still about my gear.
that pic is awesome
<--still keeps his gear clean when possible
I finally gave up on using UV filters. I have an old 50/1.4 from my Dad that has two dead ants inside it and youd never know it from the IQ of the lens.
You guys ought to see what our $40,000 betacam looks like. You'd think that I beat it with a stick.
I just like the seal in the corner
Now is it just me... or is there a fat seal underneath the tripod?
Thats the whole reason I put it up
lol seal bite
Seriously... this hasn't been said yet?
