I'd vote Ron Paul if I was down south.
He's not my top choice but that is a convincing, motivational video.
He doesn't stand a chance in hell, and I disagree with his stance on a few issues...
But still, Ron Paul FTMFW. He will have my vote if he gets that chance..
Fred Thompson FTW
That's who I'm leaning towards, as well...
How do you guys get excited over more of the same old thing? Wow its really going to be different this time around.
I never paid a great deal of attention to Ron Paul before that video, but I just might register as a Republican just so I can try to help him through the primaries...
I must say there are some stances and issues that I differ in opinion from Ron Paul, but I still think that he very well may be the most outspoken and best choice running. That being said, between Ron Paul and Mike Gravel, if they can muster around 10-15% in the party primaries, well even if they do not win the presidential nominations they very well may have a lasting impact on the future of american politics, perhaps even more so than if than if they were to win.
After all even in winning they would likely have little support from the congress to support their ideas and it could very well be a presidency remembered as accomplishing nothing (even then stopping the way things are going would be progress), if they were to lose and things were still horrible, their ideas could be adopted by more and more people by the next election cycle.
ron paul would be lucky to get 2% of a primary vote. he's a libertarian, and because of that has some good fiscal conservative ideas, but i don't agree with most of his social beliefs.
What are these beliefs/issues that you guys keep not agreeing too?
no, bill clinton is HIGHLY overrated.
They only like freedom when it comes to guns, on other matters they want to have a say in how people live
That's exactly what I'm going to do and I hope that a lot of other people follow suit.
Ron Paul has some very different stances on issues with both the republicans and democrats. No one can for sure say that his policies will work or not because no one has done anything very similar to them. One thing for sure is that if he won the nomination many people wouldn't vote for him for fear of the change he may bring, whether it be good or bad. Despite what the national media says, I think we will all be surprised in the months ahead.
we can all agree that ron paul or thompson will be better then the other candidates. espacially mr 9/11 he actually has a video on youtube saying he is a supporter of the 2nd amendment.
gridlock is a good thing
sounds like the recipe for some monkey wrenching.
