I used it at the Apple Store, I have to get one now. Next semester I will start making around $450 a month. Including the minutes and data plan, how much per month am I looking to pay to? Do I get the iPhone for free if I sign a contract? If not how much does it cost?

That $30 is JUST for the data plan. + Voice Plan (Min $25). So right there, $55. Add in text and visual voice mail, $15 more ($70). Add in system access fee $7 and 911 (50 cents), plus taxes it's $86.80.

I roughly pay $100 a month for mine.

don't be stupid. save that money, spend it towards school, help out anyone who is paying for your tuition, use it to go out and have fun... don't waste your money on a cell phone at this age.

but to answer your questions, no, the iphone will not be free. sign a 2 year contract and the iphone will come out to $200.

$450 a month? woah dude, your money should be spent on more important things

Only reason I was thinking about it is because I have no bills whatsoever. I get free college tuition, room and board and meal plan from the Army. They also pay me $450 a month. I'll probably just save it all because spending that much is a waste.

The only phone you can get for free when signing a contract might be a RAZR, and I don't think they even do that. The only free phones are shitty phones.

I pay about $82 a month for 450 Minutes, unlimited data, unlimited texting, and that includes tax and everything.

I can't stand AT&T. My girl was using my phone last month. She slightly went over my minutes (only 400 for like $69.99 :ugh:) and my bill was $262. I didn't go over minutes or data this month an my bill is $155 :wtf: I still haven't seen a regular priced bill. Should have stayed with t-mobile. :sad2:

yeah, you never go over your minutes with tmobile... because your phone never works anywhere. lol.

anyway, is that a single phone and data plan and you pay $155? how many text messages do you send and do you have any text message plan? you should be able to talk to an AT&T rep to find out how to adjust your plan to suit your usage.
