They're different vehicles built for different uses and marketed towards different buyers. The GT500 is the Grand Touring type vehicle with boatloads of power and one of the flattest torque curves out there, the BOSS is a purpose built road racing machine with a rev-happy high strung N/A motor.

Id take the gt500 over the boss all day every day. Looks better imo, and i know for a fact i'll never take either one to a race track.

Drag strip? Sure, maybe once in a blue moon, but never a road course.
