heavier, handles worse and more power thats unusable?

yup

Has the ability to make over 800RWHP and run single second 1/4 mile times on a bone stock long block and fuel system?

yup.

They're different vehicles built for different uses and marketed towards different buyers. The GT500 is the Grand Touring type vehicle with boatloads of power and one of the flattest torque curves out there, the BOSS is a purpose built road racing machine with a rev-happy high strung N/A motor.

I think the GT500 looks way better, but IMO the Boss is > in every way. Thats just me though. I dig road racing not drag racing.

but I'd take the BOSS myself.

but I'm the kind of guy who is trying to make his fox body stop and turn well instead of go fast in a straight line :o

Id take the gt500 over the boss all day every day. Looks better imo, and i know for a fact i'll never take either one to a race track.

Drag strip? Sure, maybe once in a blue moon, but never a road course.
