not sure it can be done
i don't believe iCal supports this. what are you trying to accomplish? there may be another approach...
Well, my friend has a set of calendars that contains schedules for each officer in her club. They use ical as a way to get an overview of who's available at certain times, who's busy, etc. She originally "color-coded" each officer's schedule, so each officer has their own file. I was just wondering if there was a way to merge or flatten all the files into one.
if you were to "flatten" them they all become the same color,
i know you can backup the iCal by doing file --> "back up database"
and then the person goes in and does "revert to database"
that would be a way of doing it, but then everyone will lose all their other calendars.
If it's just for viewing, I just found out today that iCal has folders (called groups)! Make a folder called "Officer's Schedules" and put them all in there.
Now you can turn on and off all the calendars in that folder at the same time.
Does that help at all?
