The two A1Cs that finished before him, finished at 2100. The guy would not accept any assistance, despite being asked several times when we would drive by. I saw him at the 10 mile mark where he was not so much running, but walking flat-footed at a slow to medium pace; still in good spirits. I saw him again at the 20 mile mark and he was taking old-person-baby-steps, where one foot doesn't even make it in front of the other. The best part was the honoring of the Bataan survivors and the Disabled Veteran participants, and the support for each.
