And i am bench pressing. How do I know what amount of weight to start with??
so... you are just going to be benching?
and doing curls
start with the bar, do a set, add what you think you can put up, do a set, repeat till you find out what you max at
300lbs sounds good
heres a big list of excercises. Good start point.
Just start reading, we could sit here and spoon feed you....but I'm sure you are capable of learning this stuff yourself.
i think youre better off getting help from someone you know if youve never lifted weights before.
start with the bar, add 10 pounds every set until you fail after however many reps you want to do
Just until I fail so I should be doing lower reps higher weights or higher reps lower weights?
most people start with 2 or 3 45 pound plates on each side, this is equal to ~90 lbs on the bench pressing machine. If your right side is stronger put four 45 lbs on that side, and 2 or 3 on the left side.
