and i bet they think everyone is safer
I never understood the Gunlaws in chicago thats for sure and im a card carrying CHL and FOID card holder
Its just bullshit! I think everyone should carry atleast 1 pistol! The world would be a safer place.
It's reasons like this that I try not to let anyone see me loading guns in my car when I head out.
I bet it was live ammunition too!
The neighbor should be beaten with a pipe.
someone with a grudge probably.
Probably pays to be cool to your neighbors.
I light off fireworks of questionable provenance every July 4th but my neighbors don't care because I help with the block parties.
When I was running some break in rounds through my AR my neighbor came out to investigate. I ended up going over to his house an BS'ing for about 45 minutes about AR's and such with the rifle leaning up against the chair I was sitting in.
I'm not sure which is better, to hide it away or be open and friendly about it. I have my ar15 in my apartment, which is literally one street over from SLU's campus. With all the recent shit in the news and school shootings at an all time high, it seems that being open and friendly about it may be the way to go. Especially since both of the recent shooters were reclusive, depressed and psychotic, it may be good to show people my personality and differentiate myself from them. What are your guys thoughts?
Discretion is always good in terms of transporting weapons, but being a generally good guy and building bridges with your neighbors can never hurt.
lol "several hundred rounds"
i bet if he had a press he would have had a "factory of death"
"baby killing factory"
think of the children
Inorite? WMD would have been locked up and never set free again.
i would hate to be in the news like that all you fucks would be laughing and saying "what, thats it?" while my family would be shocked and outraged
A few hundred rounds... hahahahahhahahhaa I should post pics of all the freakin ammo we had when we left a gunshow at George R Brown a few years back... it was a few thousand rounds... literally we were at the legal limit on what we could buy for the day
few hundred rounds bawhahahahhahahaa
"legal limit" on purchasing ammo?
Rule #1: Your neighbors do not need to know that you are armed, or how well.
i can't wait to start reloading, i will run out of space to store it all
Where the fuck do you live that you have a limit on purchasing ammo?
I know some places require you to have a FOID to even buy ammo Wouldn't suprise me some areas impose restrictions on how much you can buy at a time too.
from hometown IL on ar15..

Believe it or not, some day the Police do things right, especially when the full story is known. And how do I know it was right? Well I know who the offender I'm surprised to say. He is a distant family relation. He served in Vietnam and was never right ever since. He became a heroin addict and pill popper. The "tip" was the result of the fact he has been threatening the lives of his adult children. He is one of the most unstable men I have ever meet, and just meeting him would give you the creeps. I have no doubt that if he was left unchecked, VERY bad things would happen. Can you say multiple murder then suicide, that would be my thought. I do believe a real threat was removed from the community and kudos to CPD for protecting the community. "
