i'll take a picture of something. maybe a rock
my range I went to last week had a big sign that says no Cameras
Yep, same thing with my range. No cameras unless you first get expressed written permission from the rangemaster.
They allow cameras at the range I go to. I didnt know there was such a problem with them.
I assume they think it's going to be a distraction and, therefore, a safety hazard
Yeah, dont mind people shooting guns off all around you
The flashes probably.
ill bet that a camera flash is soooooooooooooo much worse than muzzle flash
ide say because of the posers, some people get in front of a camera and become straight out tools and do anything safe or unsafe to look good for the camera... just look at how many photos of dickhead with guns you can find w/ fingers in triggers, aiming at their buddies face etc...
Thats probably it. People crossing the line during fire. Approaching the bench during siese(sp) fire, who knows.
Damn stupid people ruinging it for everyone.
the dumb minority ruining it for the responsible majority...
yo dawg, stand in front of me and take a picture while i fire over your head! the picture will look awesome!
How about I get in my car and we pretend were going to shoot each other?
I guess in the case of the range that I go to, they have a lot of different law enforcement agencies that train there, so maybe they don't want you to get pictures of their faces or something.
And they do some serious training there, too:
dang, is that at Chabot.
as to the photos i can see it now. " The picture of the compensated (fill in the blank) where the flames were shooting out was awsome. Take a picture from the front view right when i fire."
The range we frequent now basically doesn't have any rules at all.
In fact, the only sign posted says that some group is going to come out on some date and clean the place up.
It's littered with old electronics, propane tanks, homemade targets & stands, and clays.. not to mention casings and shells of all sizes.
The other cool thing is that, alot of the time, it'll only be you and maybe 1 or 2 other people out there.
