Yes, 8000K in my BOSCH projectors that were installed by GM.
uhoh. sequel to the HID questionaire thread from two weeks ago or so
are they worth more than your car?
When I pulled the headlamp assembly out, I found out what kind of projecters there were installed.
From what I could find out, 8000 was the whitest, after that it started turning blue and purple.
you said forsooth
but, in all seirousness, 5400k is the color temperature of daylight
$235 or something like that... the car's worth atleast 50 times that amount.
I didn't like that colour.
i hope you never have to drive through a snow storm, or heavy rain......
8000k = rice
i found projectors for my car.
$189 per housing.
6000K is what you should have got. Anything above that lessens the actualy visable light.
You're installing 8,000 HIDs in your car? Are you getting a bulk rate?
after having these in my A4 for a few weeks, i have to agree. I wish i would have gotten the 6k or 5k's
I say 4200 is the best you can get, with 5k being the upper limits of what you should get. Anything more = less light = more blue = more rice. Switching my set out to Acura TL Projectors though (retrofit ftw).
you guys are just jealous you don't have 6054 sealed beams like my Formula
6000k = win
If you like less visible light
I HIGHLY doubt going to 5400k is gonna make all that much of a difference..
I just don't like the yellow tinge that the 4300's gave off.
Didn't you make a thread about this a few hours ago?
Will these new headlights help with the pedophile thing you have going?
Thats why retrofit is the best option
fullsize pic of car in your av?
Err your all wrong so far.
4300k produces the most visable light output and is the natural daylight temp/light. This is the HID output found in ALL stock cars from audi's to bmws to s2000's. Anything besides a 4300k HID kit is a waste of money you dont buy them for the purple/blue looks you buy them for the light output.
10000K = rice
How about both are rice
