Or do cardio? I heard sweating filters out a lot of the shit that causes illness.
I usually don't do cardio depending on what I have(if its the flu and I am puking, I will forgo the running), but I pretty much always lift. Even when I had surgery on my finger to re-attach the tendon that operates the distal phalange, I was working out the next week. Had to tie dumbells to my hand for extra support due to only having the grip of 4 fingers instead of 5, but I was still in there.
I'd hit the gym, make sure you get your rest afterwards though. Water water water.
