who gets teh win in terms of fat burning
There was this article in t-nation about how incline walking is good for calf development.
at the same pace i would think incline. elli is just low impact.
doubt its a huge difference though.

Incline walking FTW. Although I don't know how they compare in fatloss.
well... i think the best thing would be to just do both. incline on upper body days, elliptical on lower days
i seem to burn more calories going doing incline walking vs. elliptical...plus it's less of an akward motion
I do incline walking... i've done both and I just enjoy it more. I figure whatever I keep doing is the one that I should do.
you can go longer int he elliptical id say, but incline walking is jsut as good
Incline > Eliptical
Eliptical > Incline if you had bad knees
3.5 mph 15 deg incline ftw
between 3.5 and 4 is what I do. by 30-45 minutes I feel great!
