does anyone here knows how to turn digital color images into infrared on PS?
The closest you'll get is faux infrared. Your camera blocks most of the infrared rays when you're shooting.
not with an r72
I ordered one today, and I'll keep it on mah tripod
He was asking about converting color images to IR with the use of a program called Photoshop.
I know he was he should OBVIOUSLY buy a hoya r72 filter for his damn camera, because faux IR is a pain in the ass AND kinda sucks.
Depends what camera he owns.
nonsense!! They make them just about every size
Besides, even if he didn't have the exact size, he could always just hold the thing over the front
Some cameras have stronger IR blocking filters than others.
he should get a tripod, or be REALLY hardcore and just remove the hot-mirror from his camera and replace it with ir-pass glass or plastic of the same size. I wanna do that to a d70 sooooo freaking bad
BTW, is obviously the best freaking dancer ever.
Do you ever sleep?
I try to avoid it at all costs.
Gotta be careful, that shit'll kill ya
or at least make your life a lot shorter. But if you make your life shorter... and increase your living time by a third... do you make your life shorter?
I ment me, I don't want to live to be really old
yes you do!!
I grew up with my mother working in nursing homes, there is no way I'm going to ever become that self-reliant on someone else
ok seriouslly...... I saw a book on how to turn digital color images in to infrared "looking" pictures..... they did it on PS, I can't remember the name of the book..... no, I can't do it from my camera I have a 20D it doesn't give me that option.... does anyone here knows how to do that?
oh and btw I'm a she, not a he
You need an IR pass filter and a tripod and you can do it in camera (if you've got the time to wait for the exposure)
I didn't read the thread, since I have low reading comprehension, but my scan of key words says that might help you acheive real IR pictures. To be frank with you though, the 20D isn't too swell at infrared. The IR blocking filter is too strong and IR filters will flare with most lenses. Make sure you short focus the lenses so it'll be focused in IR.
I don't want to do it on my camera, I want to know how to do it on PS.
Oh, I understand your question now.
