Runs better than XP, HP's MIE brew of Linux, some other netbook version of Linux I grabbed.
nice, i really like the way the HP mini feels and looks...I was going to get an MSI wind for this becaue I heard it's pretty easy and everything works on them....Is there anything you haven't got to work on the HP?
The Dell Mini 9 with 16gb SSD is the best way to go for an OS X netbook.
the only thing that isnt working right now is the microphone and screen diming function keys. i can upgrade to 10.5.6 and get the function keys working again. i just havent done it yet.
can you send me a link for the torrent for the osx86 .iso you used?
im so tempted to sell my macbook for a netbook :-\
ehh, i wouldn't go that far...processing power is pretty paltry compared to a core duo
the macbook doesnt do any heavy lifting
it's great for couch surfing, but that keyboard is way too small for fulltime IMO
I still don't see the draw of netbooks. 6-9" screen, keyboard for infants, no thanks.
mines a 10 inch screen and 95% keyboard, works for me
Dell has a Mini with a 12 inch screen for those of you who want a tad bit bigger screen
Dell mini 9 with 32 gig ssd and 2 gig ram.
