A&P Interior photography?

Discussion in 'Lifestyle' started by coughlin's law, May 31, 2008.

  1. I've been looking at Scott Hargis' photos, and I like how he takes photos -- so much that I want to incorporate that kind of shooting into my own interior photography... I shot a house earlier today, and I could have used a flash in some areas...

My question is, if I get a 580EX, can I slave 2 Vivitar 285s with one pocket wizard? Anything else I should know?

No. You need one PW on the camera and one on each flash. However, an optical trigger may work (line of sight only) and would be lot cheaper.

Also, you wouldn't need an expensive flash like the 580EX unless you need ETTL metering or you're planning on adding more Canon speedlights and you want to use Canons wireless method.

  3. The 580EX has a lot of power, that I could also use for other things...
