Just saw Into the Wild I thought it was well done but is it as good as the book?
The book very briefly dives into the life of McCandless. It's only around 100 pages long, so it's worth the read.
What pisses me off is they're still not showing it up here in Fairbanks!! Bastards!
Is it worth seeing? I was thinking about seeing it tonight.
based on the previews I thought it was gonna be real good...It was really boring to me, things were happening very slowly, the soundtrack was excellent
It was a bit slow, that being said I enjoyed it a lot.
Movie of the year [atleast til i watch no country].
No Country For Old Men =Into the Wild both are great movies
Just watched this movie, amazing...
I really relate to the main character too.
yeah i agree. i didnt feel anything towards him, i felt bad for his little sister. theyshoulda showed more about him getting a job and how he got from california to alaska
I liked the movie better.
pretty good, not great.
Good story, but very slow...
I watched this last night and this was an excellent movie.
One of the better movies I have seen over the last few years and maybe ever.
I cannot believe this movie didnt get more attention. I thought it was incredibly well-done and tells a great story that everyone can learn from.
Beautiful movie, so sad though.
I liked it a lot, although I can see why a lot of people don't. It was a pretty good adaptation from the book.
I thought it was the best movie I have seen this year so far.
I, myself, have often thought about moving to Alaska to die of exposure in an abandoned school bus...
This movie should be titled, "How to Become a Corpse for no Reason"... this bright youth ended his own life for no other reason, than that he didn't have the desire to amount to anything... I confess, have those thoughts... all too frequently, some days.
Me & the wife liked the the movie alot & loved the sound track very much.
I disagree. I dont think that was his reasoning at all.

Bullshit,he miss calculated his food supply & didn't know the river would be so swollen & he had a desire to get away from the sick mess of society & it's blackened shit of selfish gain at others exspence & capatelism.....(i know spelling sucks)
I loved no country... we'll check this one out... Into the Wild.... is it still showing?
It's out on DVD
