The $50 rebate and 2 free mags expire at the end of the month and im thinking about picking one up.
You can't fire the gun unless a magazine is in it.
You can remove it yourself though, kinda easy.
I deleted the post because I found the answer.
The 209304 looks like it will fit my bill. $439 + $15 FFL fee.
NOT FAST ENOUGH OBVIOUSLY
what's the difference between 109203 and 109303? Would the prices in stores be around the same? I was thinking about getting one this weekend
The 109203 has a mag safety meaning if you were to take out the mag, the gun wouldnt be able to fire. It can be a good or bad thing but i'd rather get one without the safety. If you want to make it safe, take out the round in the chamber and remove the mag.
oh. Are these brand new guns?
Uh oh...might have to do this
I found a brand new .40c for $489
Local prices should be close to the same. The shop I go to always list the lowest prices which is $495 and another one tells me they sell it for $590. Im gonna buy from the $495 place even though it costs a little more than buying online. It builds a good relationship.
and you don't have to wait for shipping
And sometimes they sell you the one that has been on display.
Growing up in a family owned business, I always try and support the local business when I can even if it means paying slightly more. I just don't pay too much attention to the sales clerks they hire that try to steer me to a gun even when I know exactly what I want.
Hey Res, the Marksman in puyallup had the brand new S&W MP .40's for $399. I haven't been there in a while but I'll check next time I go to shoot IDPA there.
Here's where I would check that have good local prices in Seattle area.
Federal Way discount guns
Kesselring up north is always worth the drive, or Larry's in Olympia if your ever down south.
Buds does them for $399 all the time... they just bought a shit load of them though I think because you never know what you'll get serial number wise. a lot of people ask for the new one and have ended up with like a MPBXXXX
Whatever you do, DON'T go to Gander Mountain.
M&P 9&40 Fullsize $599
M&P 9&40 Compact $550
Bud's is the best place. That's where I got mine, and I'll definitely do business with them again.
Oh BTW, www.budspolicesupply.com (same people) is restricted to ship S&W guns to certain states. I was looking at the M&P9c with 3 mags and night sights.
And what are the current serial numbers for them? I dont want to get an old stock.
Compacts w/ Night Sights have been hard to come by and it even says out of stock there.
Don't worry by serial number just try and get Revision N or O. N says Rev. N right inside the frame really big, O has a series of dots printed there instead. O = newest.
If you have any issues though S&W will actually swap you out a totally new frame and you keep the same serial number so no worries.
The latest I've seen reported on the MP forum was somewhere around MPV, MPW... something like that.
Off to buy my gun today. He's only taking off $10 if I pay for cash so im putting it on credit.
I went to go buy it on Saturday but he tried to pack up the one that was on diplay which is from 12/06. I had him order some new ones and im supposed to pick it up Friday but having second thoughts right now. Buying from Bud's Gun Shop will save me at least $50 ($459 cash, $468 credit vs $516 cash, $530 credit) so I can buy ammo. Im gonna go back and look at some other guns he has and maybe get a Glock 19 from him. What do G19's sell for brand new?
that's how much i paid for my .40c
