are there any other feasible ways to accomplish getting ripped alongwith proper dieting?
No its not a 'must'. A calorie deficit is a 'must'.
so it cant be done with lifting and dieting alone?
It's not necessary, but it's a good way to burn up extra calories. Sometimes you need to burn more than you eat in order to stop gaining fat.
how many calories do we naturally burn a day? fitday says with my lifestyle that i burn over 3000 calories a day without rugby practice...are they right?
we can't tell you because no one has the same metabolism, some people can burn ungodly amounts of calories, some people have sluglike metabolisms

true... most wouldnt know where to obtain any though.. its not like you can just go to the store and ask for some.
