Is Costco worth it if you don't have kids?

Single dude here - Costco 100% worth it for me. My car insurance is currently through one of their partners & I've done 2 mortgages through partner lenders. I get essentials that I get every time and then the occasional one-offs. Probably go every other month or two. Usually dictated on when I need to buy dog food.

Get it delivered with instacart+… everything is marked up a few percent but it’s worth not having to drive, deal with crowds, load/unload car… I have Costco for just me. Wife barely touches the food I get. I’ve been doing this about a year and no plans to change any time soon.

How is the produce? Fruits and vegetables?

When I get it delivered, occasionally some stuff is expired or a long way from being ripe. Spoiled = get a refund through the app, far from ripe = just wait to eat it. Quality of produce is high.

If all you care about is saving the $60 then no. Honestly costco isnt even that cheap compared to shop rite or walmart when it comes to essential shit.

However there some exclusive item that costco has that walmart and super market chains do not.

I don't know. I shop at poverty Sam's club. The scan and go is really nice. The meat is much cheaper than my local supermarket too

Did not but we did on one in Elgin. Have the inspection Monday.

I work in Addison so would probably do the one in Bloomingdale on my way home after work during the week.
