i am trying to cutback on sweet drinks and sometimes when i need a drink...i want somethin with flavor

if you're trying to lose weight replacing water with powerade is a bad idea.

i always thought powerade/gatorade was basically water with add-ins.
i sometimes bring a bottle of powerade and usually fill it up with water everytime i sip out of it.
there it goes again, and what scientist did a study on the optimal ratio of powerade to water?
... 500ml water for 500g sugar? No.
If you're playing basketball, or doing something which takes endurance it might be good to have some gatorade to replenish electrolytes and sugars, but definitely don't replace water and make sure you are drinking water.
I think it was 10% drop in performance per 1% dehydration.
If you need the energy drink it.
crystal light is good if you need something sweet.
.. what about that Propel shit. its water and flavoring?
