Why do you do decline? Do you eat? Do you workout your triceps?

what do you mean sticking point?

by intensity do you mean weight?
    usually I go
10, 8, 6, 6...but don't make it to 6, only get to 4, and the spot helps me get last 2

the only thing I am not doing and not sure if I should is push out the weight with a lot of strenghts, right now I push it but not as hard as I can, I kind of just do a controlled motion

I am kind of looking to drop BF and maintain weight

I know I know y'all said it was impossible, but I been doing it since I signed up 3-4 month ago, I went from 22% to about 16% and maintained the same weight

I am not sure right now if it would be better for me to bulk or cut, I am kind of riding this maintenance thing t'il it's done

    recommend me, i'm all ears

A sticking point is where you usually fail your lift...i.e at the bottom of the lift(right off your chest) , middle, or top of the lift. knowing that can help determine what muscle you need to target to get your #'s up. So on that 5th rep of the last set, where are you failing?

As for overall intesity, I just mean that you need up your sets reps and eat more to compensate for that. Also concentrate on Pressing motions rather than flys to get stronger.

you looked like a big guy from your pics, so I can imagine you benching like 200+, no?

I am only at like 125...this is pathetic, considering I started out at like 60, it is an improvement but sad...I feel like shit I was hoping to at least get to 1 plate on each side :wtc:

if youre (new) losing strength or plateau'd theres two reasons: not eating enough/properly or youre overtraining. or you could just have no idea how to work out. being plateau'd at 125 i would think is pretty impossible unless youre fucking up one of the above

I feel like I've gotton stronger while on my diet but I havnt really maxed out on anything, just going by weight and increased reps.

I'm not doing a strength routine either, I'm still volume training.

    bottom usually

interesting I never knew...how would I go about making this stronger? :bigthumb:

you mean I should be doing 12, 10, 8, 8 instead of 10, 8, 6, 6? I will definitivally start eating more now, I just cna't stand to look at myself with a gut, I've finally gotten to where I am comfortable with myself and I don't want to gain it back..but if I have no choice then I will

I thought fly's were good for strenghts? what are htey good for if not? I am curious

    Big guy...no. Under 175lbs.
At the same weight though, just a month or two ago I did a single with 310lbs (315 at 178lbs is my best ever). Lately I've had difficulty even with 295. Its been hit or miss.

ya I agree with you I must of fucked up one of the above

now I am gonna hit up the eating and gonna start being a pig and eating all in sight

but regarding overtraining how can I find out if I did?
I usually workout each muscle group once a day
    4 diff exercises per each...with 4 sets (10, 8, 6, 6 usually)

should I change that down to 3
also not sure if this helps or not (I remember mention of soreness in overtraining once or twice I think), but I am not usually sore the day after, but the day after that I am hurting like a bitch, and hte day after that less, then I am good...not sure if that says anything ? :dunno:

dont take offense if use the word "beginner" but for beginners its really hard to overtrain unless youre just being ridiculous and you look like youve got a decent structure going on. its more than likely your diet so revamp that if anything. also take a look at christophers base routine for some ideas if youre concerned about your routine.
