get protein whenever you can man. don't worry so much on the timing, worry more about the amount you are taking in each day.
how many shakes do you guys usually have a day?
Wakeup, pre-workout (sometimes my morning shake), post-workout.
only thing ive heard is you dont want to have a lot of food in your stomach 45mins before working out bc then the blood is going to your stomach and not to your muscles.
but if im on empty i have a 1/2 shake 1hr before the gym
i heard it will kill you
eat a real meal 1-1.5 hrs before and take the shake right after.
protein intake at wakeup, within 2hrs of workout, & within 1hr after workout
two for me... wake up and post-workout
i usually eat a good meal about 2-3 hours before i head to the gym
