I buy it. I love how these TV ads show some BB who is obviously FAT AS FUCK from an off season bulk and then show him "10 weeks later" and the nigga is totally Stacked.
It gets these fat fucks to think that all they have to do is cut the fat and use this "Magic Product" and they will be shredded. Nobody tells them that this Body Builder was never actually fat to begin with.
What the fuck do protein shakes have to do with anything? Do you live in some magical world where solid food doesn't exist and the only source of protein is shakes?

Could we please not talk about protein shakes in here guys? I'm on probation for a tripple homicide I commited while on that stuff. Part of my terms of release involved staying away from the protein scene. It sucks because now I cant get big anymore.

Sometimes they do the reverse as well. They'll take a shot of a really fit guy and then tell him to gain weight for the "before" photo. In essence, the "before", is the "after".

If you like chicken and don't mind eating it 3 times a day, sure you could do it. And eating some other source of lean/semi-lean protein for your other two meals.
Or you could just "rocky" it and drink raw eggs. But really, it's very difficult for the average person to a huge amount of protein without drinking protein shakes. It's possible, but it's much more difficult. Your average person is not going to cook/eat chicken 3 meals a day.
