yep, rows. personally I like to do them with just my hand on the bench
in addition to adduction...the lats also do extension, internal rotation, and horizontal abduction...so you could use dumbells for extension but and some other movements if you're creative..but you wouldn't be getting as powerful of a contraction as with pull downs
