I took the week off after my win at NAGA to get some rest and figure out how I should be training for the next tournament. I have till november to train. I figured that since triangle chokes have been the deal closers for me, I want to revolve my game around the triangle. I want to be able to figure out how to gain the position to nail them no matter where im at. I also want to work on developing the armbar as my backup closer...and be able to transition from that to a triangle and vice versa. I'm also going to work on my passes and get more comfortable on not being on a bottom position. Is it too early for me to focus on getting my game revolved around a single finisher? I'd like to stick to what works for me and perfect it...ala Roger Gracie.
