By a Harley Davidson?
Haven't heard that, i heard kawi is giving them a good show with their bike
Quickest and fastest are two diff things.
All bikes are now limited to 186 stock, so its a moot point.
Untill you plug a TRE in or just do the wire mod
But I don't think the Busa was ever the quickest bike, that indicates 1/4 mile time.
The fastest would be top speed, and the Busa has had that crown since the 99-00 bike. I don't think the ZX-14 is going to beat that.
Oh and to the original poster, yes Harley does build a V-Rod drag bike meant for a spec class. But it also costs more than a Ducati 999R, and is purpose built for the drag strip. So its not really a fair comparison to a $11k street bike, thats actually meant to be ridden on the street.
BUSA is what FKN 8 year old technology
Excellent contribution to the thread.
I'm pretty sure we all thought the Busa was a brand new sportbike to be unveiled this year.
actually, the ZX12R was the fastest for 2005.
you can also buy the Bonneville Box from Muzzys to remove the speed restriction from the 12R.
Quickest: Yes. Highest Top Speed: No. There was a Motorcyclist article on it. It's got the fastest quarter mile time or 0-60 or something like that. It was one of the new V-Rod renditions.
When it comes to quickest in quarter mile its a toss up between several bikes and is dependant upon the rider. Stick me on my bike and tell me to drag a good drag rider on any of todays liter bikes and I'm gonna lose. I'm simply not a good drag racer.
Kinda anxious to see if Zook's new inline six show bike is the basis for the new Busa. Would be the first bike I'd actually seriously consider selling my Busa in order to buy.
I think this is the one that you're taling about.
And yes, quarter mile is a little subjective when you're talking about everyday riders, but this is in regards to professional dragracers
