I am late to the quarantine bread making trend but I decided to have a go at baking some bread... I think it turned out alright and I look forward to experimenting more and making different stuff, particularly baguettes.

I think I got a decent crust on these but the crumb wasn’t as airy as I was hoping. Not terrible but definitely don’t have those big air holes... :dunno:

I don’t fuck with bread, PERIOD. Bread is not real, do you walk through a farm to find a slice of damn Wheat Wonder laying there? No. Animals dont eat bread. If a shredded slamming Gorilla with a 5,000lbs total cant find it and eat it, neither am I.

A few months ago I bought my wife a sourdough starter on ebay that the seller claimed was 150+ years old, it was his grandmothers and she got it from a baker in San Francisco.

No idea how true that is, but she's made some pretty killer sourdough loafs lately.
