i'm curious about this as well.
how much of your weight are you pushing up with you do a pushup?
everyone is built different
no, and it doesn't matter
do slow pushups on a bathroom scale and watch the #'s change at each portion of the movement.
not a bad idea.....
i always end up getting someone to put additional weight on my back when i do a some.
i try to have have my gf under me.....
see how many you can do, then under the exact same circumstances find the weight that you can do with a bar for the same reps
