2000 GTI 53k miles, silver/black, 5sp, 1.8t asking $13.9k with 2year/24k VW certified warrenty.
It's really hard to find GTI's lately so I'd appreciate any input, this is the cheapest one I've found in a while.
Not a dub expert here, but I got my 2001 A4 Avant for $18k with 50k miles, seems a little weird that it is only $5k more... If you like the car, go for it. I would go for a 2001, since I think that's when the 1.8t received a 30hp booster shot in the ass...
I can find audi's super cheap here, just depending on the type. It's impossible to find any 1.8t quattro 5speeds here though though. I'd prefer the fwd version anyways, I need the extra gas milege.
personally, 13.9 sounds a tad high with 53k, but with the warrenty that is a good price
just make sure you drive the car and take it to a mechanic who is qualified to look over a turbo engine
window regualators, as everyone knows, are bad from 98-02, so make sure those have been replaced with the newer metal pieces
if you havn't already checked it out, http://www.vwvortex.com is a great site
yeah im hopeing to get the price lower, the miles don't scare me but i think the price is too high for that many miles. gti's seem to be pretty hard to find used right now and i need a car kinda quick.
window regulators don't scare me. my last car went through two engines, and two transmissions the first six month of owning it. and i bought it new.
Sounds good to me.
Sounds good to me! Good luck, have fun, and chip it
They sell performance products for 1.8t's...
1.8t's got the hp boost in 2002 if im not mistaken. pre-2002 were 150 and 2002 and newer are 180. correct me if im wrong here.
