already got mine done
Taxslayer.com is also free for military, I've used them three years in a row. I recommend them based on my own experiences. I have never used TurboTax.
so is mypay updated already? i got out a while back, so I havent heard yet. I just hope I can remember my login info.
The AF has W-2s out!
i'd recommend trying both to make sure one won't get a bette return than the other..
you are useless to me yet again Jyokker
On the MyPay W-2 schedule, we were the last ones to be done. I imagine yours are on there. Why don't you give me your social and pin, and I will check for you?
Let me get right on that.....I might just do my taxes from Baltimore! jk...
So how do I (on Taxslayer online) ensure I get ALL of my state income tax back?
Oregon does not require you to pay income tax if you are Active Duty military based in another state
I don't know because I am a FL resident. No state income tax FTMFW.
i'm fucked, i havent filed since i joined the military ...
i tried to use turbo tax last year and it wanted to charge me still....
This year will be the biggest return for me ever! I paid in only $300 too!
Army too, our taxes were done, filed and accepted by the IRS last week
FYI to everyone doing their own taxes, please do not forget to claim your phone excise credit.
Single people claim $30
Married couples without children or people with 1 dependent claim $40
Married couples with 1 child claim $50
Married couples with 2 or more children claim $60
The money is yours, don't forget to get it. If you use 1040 form then the line where you claim your credit is #71
its usually free for the 1040ez.. I filed jointly last year so I paid turbotax because Im too lazy to send it off myself or have my dad whos an accountant do it.
You're allowed an extension because of deployments. Just do them all now and send them off at once.
