it seems like im the only who isnt doing it.
i dont use wraps and sometimes I'll use gloves.
yeah, i dont get it either. fuck trying to do 10 things at once.
i think gloves are faggoty but some will disagree
buddy at work has been trying to get me to buy wrist wraps for the longest. he says they are over gloves.
I used to not give a fuck about gloves, but my hands and wrists feel so much better after using them
wrist wraps have their place and i usually only find myself using on back day...... i hate gloves for the simple fact i cant feel metal in my hand.
but bro your hands develop natural protection... callouses
he uses something similar to these http://www.dynamicfitness.com/detail.aspx?ID=1699&name=TKO Lifting Hooks
those would work.. so do $5 habinger straps if you arent pulling eleventy billion pounds
i believe you are referring to straps, not wraps
The only exercise I use wraps in are deadlifts bc the weight my back/hammies can handle is much more than the weight my grip can handle.
you mean straps?
i use wraps on most pressing movements..straps for deads and rows.
i have a torn tendon in my left index finger, according to my orthopedist, i still dont use straps
whoops yep i mean straps
straps != wraps
wtf is going on in here?
ummm no, wraps are beneficial for pressing movements ie: Bench, strict press and shouldnt be used for lighter weight, do not use the wraps as a crutch as you want to get your wrist strength strong first.
bwpl... "!=" in programming language means "not equal to," as in.. they arent the same thing.
wraps for when i go heavy on bench or squats
you wrap on squats eh? hmmmm
if you go heavy, you do.
