I'm thinking of going down and getting the GP100 in .357 that I've been wanting. Should I do it?
I hate ruger so, remmy or 1911 depending which one your considering.
Springfield or Kimber
Ruger = meh
1911 = win.
I like my GP100 - it's built like a tank and shoots well. It was a fairly economical purchase at <$500. Mine is blued steel, which has proven to be fairly durable after ~8 months of ownership. If I did it again, I might pick the stainless over blued steel since it's a more durable finish.
I'd post pics, but my webhost seems to be down.
I've handled a Springfield mil-spec 1911 and liked it fairly well. It was a range beater that looked like its last cleaning was at least 500 rounds before I fired it, and it performed without incident. I was more accurate with it than my G21.
Thanks for the feedback
