Oh great...Another unit trying to get its piece of the pie. Will be interesting to see how they do.
Marines trained by Navy Seals, commanded by Navy Seals, and stay at a Navy Seal training facility. Sounds like they are Navy Seals to me.
in one sentence define a navy seal
dictionary.com defines navy seals as
Definition: a member of the special forces unit for the US Navy who is trained for unconventional warfare on sea, air, and land
You could use that definition for pretty much any special unit, just swap out the branch.
A SOCOM operator currently serving in the Navy. Anything else you need?
I would'nt say they are trained for UW if you understand what UW truely is. Most of the SOCOM units are more oriented towards DA and Recon missions. Army SF would be an exception with it covering a variety of missions and specifically UW.
SEAL team SIX
dictionaries know squat about war. he said, "Marines trained by Navy Seals, commanded by Navy Seals, and stay at a Navy Seal training facility. Sounds like they are Navy Seals to me."
i define a seal as a well-trained hi-speed individual, trained for the last 100 meters of combat. there doesnt need to be a better or worse, they are just two different things.
aren't marines just a different breed of seamen anyways
so what happens to their elite First Recon?!
Theyre the first pool of applicants
and what ever happened to detachment one?
dunno what you are talking about, now look into this shiney little pen light
i would take a venture and say they become the SOCOM group?!
