that's so hot. downloading now!
nice, just updated
Looks good, too bad I don't have album art for like 85% of my music.
Thats something I really need to get done. Sit down one Sunday for like 5 hours and track down some of this cover art.
Another thing that would be nice, currently I have my iTunes on an external monitor (macbook pro + monitor). When I go into full screen, that screen goes full screen and the other just goes black. It'd be cool if I could have that going full screen on the external and still be able to use my main MBP screen.
I noticed that as well Was trying to play something in quicktime on my external monitor, but it outputs only to the macbook
I like it but frontrow > *
thank god that can display on an external monitor
Except that Manchurian Candidate kept locking up my machine in FR
Quicktime works for me on my external, you just have to make sure the actual window is on the external monitor.
Atleast, thats how it is in VLC. If the controller for VLC is on the external, then thats where the windows maximizes too, even if the actual smaller window is on my main monitor. I've been watching a ton of family guy, using VLC and my external monitor. Basically have it going 24/7, its a DEll CRT I got for free from my school when they were giving stuff away, I save the HD stuff for my main monitor.
I hope they have a 7.1 release for Windows that fixes the incompatibility in Vista with iPod.
The technotes indicate that it is fixed!
I'll have to check with my dad to see if this fixes his problems with his new Vista machine hsugh
there's an app for that, check version tracker....
a lot of the albums in my library are mispelled, or blank or something, so about 85-90% of my album artwork is missing too, but no application will get it... probably. unless this program can determine the album according to the song name and artist? (although then what if it's a compliation cd and the track is on 2 or 3 different albums)
7.1 have anything besides pretty album art? i don't use album art...and although it looks cool, i'm not updating for a GUI.
it takes like 3 minutes and runs in the background, then you restart iTunes, whats the big deal?
in for a program to find albulm art and stuff
or is it easier to make an account with itunes and they'll find it, right ????
because my current version works just fine. my computer doesn't have a lot of available resources. fancy GUI's use more ram.
Idk, iTunes didn't do most of mine so I'm not sure if they're wrong or what. I know that iTunes is really picky i.e. it has to say "Billy Joel's Hits" instead of just "Hits" with "Billy Joel" as the artist.
i have a widget that links to itunes, so if you cant find the album art, you play the song, go to dashboard, and you can get the album cover from a variety of places.
once it finds it (or others) you can apply that cover to the album/song thats playing.
Yeah, I found that one too. Its called Amazon Art widget or something like that, search VersionTracker for itunes album art and it's like the 3rd or 4th option.
me setting up a hotkey to go into frontrow, music, now playing > *.
i used albumart.org and the drag n drop method, took 30 mins or so
