Since which update do numbers appear after the alphabet? Or is something wrong with my iTunes?
What the who-hey? Post a screenshot? What are you guys talkin about?
Me too. I thought something was messed up.
Seriously, why was this change a priority for Apple? I can think of a few other changes that are more "important" than this.
i think it was the recent one with itunes, honestly, that is extremly dumb cause it makes more sense to do 0-9 a-z
Sorry, no screengrab, but as of iTunes 7.3, albums and artists that start with a number (ie 50 Cent, 3 Dog Night, 2Pac) now sort at the END of the alphabet instead of the beginning.
So where it used to be:
3 Doors Down
3 Doors Down
That's contradicts ASCII, Unicode, etc. and common sense. Time for a bug report.
Thanks for the clarification, I really didn't notice it until you pointed it out!
yeah, i agree, it's retarded. now my !!! cd's are at the bottom of the list.
yeah I hate the new update too freaking stupid.
Suprisingly enough, Apple does look at these, so submit them for bugs and "general usability" problems.
feedback sent to apple
the new update fix anything?
still no permanent shuffle in source list
part of the reason I have not updated
I like it makes AC/DC come first and none of this 3 doors down and +44 bullshit.
I like how they made the running time at the bottom more precise and it doesn't round anymore.
They should at least give you the option to put the numbers on the top.
I just noticed it also put all the numbers on the bottom on my iPod too.
now I'm not updating my iTunes
