any tips on how to get past 70?
go heavier.. like 2-3 reps
i do like 75x11.... last 2 reps are sketchy though
i do 155 for 6 reps?
im sure someone does more than me
i've only seen 2 people at my gym do 135 and 1 had awful form
I do like 35x4 and then I'm choking on vomit on the floor.
I only do the 80 for sets of 10
there's always someone doing more, somewhere, but if you're doing 155 strict form.
I do 100lbs x12 on preacher curl
My workout is usually 70x8, 80x6, and 90x4
I started to go up when I added in hammer curls and reverse curls. Of course not instantly, but within a month or so.
Truthfully, I don't really care how much I do on BB curl. It's all about form and muscle stimulation. Kids who swing and sway back and forth with 11ty pounds on the bar might as well be doing nothing.
Im going to start doing more curls.

not on the cable pully bro, we are talking barbell. I can do 45's on the 45 bar (135) for 10 on a GOOD day. How the fuck are you doing 155? I want a vid of this and I mean now. Cause if its true your the fucking bicep king. For once be one of the first to make us eat crow....pretty please
Also, you can try cheat curl negatives...
yeah if its a cable pully cut it in 1/2 for more realistic amount
1) you are thinking of the wrong exercise
2) i missed the joke
how can you do that much on BB and only hammer curl this:
db hammer curls
30lb x 10 reps x 1 set
35lb x 10 reps x 1 set
40lb x 8 reps x 1 set

I hammer curl more than I DB bicep curl.
me too.. but we are talking about BB not DB
