    More of the same, felt beaten down and grip strength sucks. I wanted to go for 90's on db press because I think that'd be a PR for me but that was a no-go today. Looking forward to that deload next week.

    That's not a bad idea at all.

    My grip still suffers with db's but it affects me less than when I dl.

    Just tried these out with no db and I'm wobbly as shit LOL, but I'll give them a go.

    You can do them with a barbell as well. I like to do them off the pins that way.

    If you want more stability you can do them on the Smith machine, or hold the weight in one arm only while holding onto something to support yourself with the unweighted arm. If you do it the second way then you want the weight in the opposite arm of the leg that's working (e.g. left foot on the ground, dumbbell in right hand).

    I watched a video last night where the guy used a bench keep balance so I'm going to keep that one in mind while I try the db and / or bb method first.

    I'll report back, hopefully this is a good substitute for the time being.
