great for tracking speeds, times, paces...
that looks pretty badass
I just use a regular ass bike computer
i used one of those too for instant speed, and leave this in its case cable tied to handlebars and upload when i get home
You know Polar just came out with a new unit that also tells you where your power band is, where the power comes from in the stroke ,and the imbalances.
hmm i always wonder where my peak rpm is
i guess and stick to it usually
although if one knew, they could get one of those cvt bikes and dial it in
i want a cooler one though!
motionbased works with my Garmin Edge 305, i think...
just connect it up, its really easy
clear tracks before you go, save when you return, connect and boom
i'll check it out tomorrow after my ride
i've never been to the website, i just usually use the training center software that the computer came up with
if i could use the motion-based page and link it in my log, it would save a lot of time from copy/pasting the graphs into MSpaint and copying all the stats
whats the price on one of these units? roughly?
mine retails for 400+... but i got it shipped, brand new off of ebay for 275
I aint baller enough
i set mine up last night... pretty cool, but it doesn't give all of the information that my training center does... still, it'll be a lot easier to link the pages in my log and fill in the missing info than it was copy/pasting everything
I wish there was something like this around and affordable back in the day when I used to mountain bike race, etc. I used to draw my trail maps out by hand or outline them on regular topo maps.
signed up and gave it a shot
Holy shit ride!
45.6 max. MPH, haha big hill in there someplace?
Almost 100 miles. Ccrooks is half god!
the last 20 or so miles was all downhill... at that point, i was just concerned with getting back... i had no energy and wasn't trying to go slow
