right before Covid hit Honda made a page that asked customers what the most in demand S2000 parts were hinting they were going to do a run of parts..... I think Covid nuked the idea though

nope. Oem is the cleanest looking and best fit out of all of them

Yeah. Had to return the driver's side because the silver ring around the projector had come off. Just having some issues getting the fender/headlight gap perfect.

ebrake on, hold the button.. top will go up/down in like 15 seconds or so.

I also push up on the handle to relieve stress on the straps

Probably not a bad idea to give it a little hand assist. Doesn't hurt and if it extends the life of the straps, giddy up!

Luckily these things are super reliable and hopefully Honda is still seeing lots of part demand to at least keep the essentials going.

I removed the sensor wire and taped it. Nice to be able to retract the top while driving in the neighborhood

How much did that set you back OP? Pricing is out of control on them now. I sold my 05 JUST before the market started to take off back in like 2016. 80k miles and I struggled to find a buyer at $15k. Now that fucker would go for $30k no problem.

Part of their appeal is its timeless design imo. It's kind of weird how much attention I get around town from all ages and sexes. Everything from 3yo kids playing in their front yard to dude bros, old asian ladies, and guys with vietnam war hats. I talked with an old dude at a red light last fall that had a business restoring MGs. He was totally stoked.

Had to let him pull ahead at the light to give him a taste of vtec.

Low 20s. The goal is to lose nothing or make a small profit once I get bored with it.
