Ah ha! Finally bought my first firearm
Shoulda got a Sig
10 round mags, where do you live?
Yeah, bought it from a friend who explained the whole 10 rnd mag concpet. I may order a 13? rnd clip along with some other stuff tonight
What's the 10rnd mag concept?
Please explain this concept. Handguns don't use clips.
He said it came from from federal ruling a few years back limiting the mag to 10 rnds (unless you're LE or federal). Maybe it was Clinton? Either way, it's supposed to be back to 13 rnd mags now I believe
See above where I said this is my first firearm
If you are buying a firearm you should know the proper terminology.
The 10 round mags are pretty much worthless unless you live in a communist state like California or one of the other wastes of land with an AWB.
Sorry, I just mailed off my Firearm entrance/exit exam with supplemental vocab quiz and I havn't gotten my scores back!
Ah well, I had planned on getting the 13 rnd mags anywaz. No big deal.
unless your in cali shouldn't have a problem getting a high cap mag for it.
remember how i told you XD>Glock...
Well I found a really good deal on a Glock 22, so I guess Glock>XD.. for now.
Im scared of the glock going kaboom tho the people are scaring me saying the .40's blow up
Don't shoot shit ammo and it wont blow up.
I shoot shit ammo and mine hasnt blown up
Im assuming you have a Gen3? They said the Gen2 and under are the ones that KB shrug
Yeah but you got the ladies model, 9mm glocks arent known for kb'ing.
I got some IMI ammo thats meant for submachine guns only ill let ya try running through it
I bought mine second hand (hardly used, but still used). How do I know if mine is 2nd gen or 3rd for that matter?
pic is dark cannt see the grip too well, if it has checkering its 2nd gen, if its got the finger grooves 3rd, niether 1st. although i believe late 2nd gen may of had the grooves too.
Ah looked it up on Glock Talk and it APPEARS that it's a 3rd gen because I have the finger grooves and the accessory rail. But there's a 2.5gen I'm not sure of
