It's kinda tired/sore in the center of the lower back. Is that normal? Sorry for newb question

i've been doing deads for like a month and a half... and i don't think i've had more than a couple of days when the center of my back isn't sore...
Your lower back should feel EXTREME!

cool thanks for the replies. I hope it's normal to be paranoid you hurt your back. All these years of thinking you should never lift anything with your back then you get educated with a few days of researching (includng reading F&N!).
it's okay to lift things with your back while using good form. It's even more okay to lift heavy ass things with your back while using good form all while grunting and letting out rancid protein farts.

mine doesn't get so sore that I can't get things done. Its more of a pleasant sore.
Legs on the other hand.
hah I noticed that about legs too. I'm only doing legs and back once a week though.
My lower back and hamstrings are fucking beat after deads and sore as shit for the next two days (at least).
I can hardly walk after deads.

My lower back is one of the most sore places I get.
i used to get really sore in the lower back after deads but i moved my deadlifts to back day, and ever since then it's been fine. i think that lower back extensions really help with decreasing soreness.

I have a shitty lower back... deads have done nothing but help strengthen it, it barely bothers me anymore, just pretty much when I run for extended periods of time
+1. Lower back muscles feel so pumped and tight, it almost feels like my back is going to lock up. It's a struggle to strip the bar down because I'm exhausted and can barely bend down to reach the weights/bar.

my lower back is my weakest point too.
yest legs workout got me so bad my legs were shaking and i couldnt clutch, and my lower back hurt so much i had to drive home twisting my body to help it stretch out.
sucks.. but so good. hehe
