Scored it on ebay. I got od green so no one would get it confused with theirs.
nice. do you not like autos?
Not legal in the state for carry on your person. I do a lot of interstate travel and don't want any trouble.
Got the same one in black for my brother. It's really nice and easy to open. I think I'm going to pick up the mini Griptilian for myself.
Autos are cool, but you can open an Axis lock knife almost as fast. Without any legal questions.....
I just looked the autos in the state have to be small. Too small to be useful.
ah I'm not familiar with the laws in other states. AZ is pretty open about that stuff. With a CCW, I can carry pretty much anything.
I have a griptillian and it's so fucking easy, and fast, to open it's scary.
I like it... how much did you give for it? I need to find a knife that holds an edge better than the Kershaw Blur... any input?
Mini Griptilians are in the $70-$80 range and full size Griptilians are in the $90-$105 range.
All of them are in 154CM and you'll rarely need to sharpen them. On the other hand I couldn't recommend that you sharpen it yourself unless you know what you're doing.
FWIW, Griptilians can be bought for MUCH better prices than those listed.
I paid $80 including shipping from an eBay retailer.
Spyderco sharpmaker? I has one.
so what is the blade length on that? I asked the police if i could carry my microtech halo 3 and they said as long as its under 3 inches md police dont care if its an auto or what not... So the halo is illegal i thought maybe i would get something legal.
same here. Our law is you can carry any blade you want aslong as its 3 inches or smaller.
It was two years ago and at a store. They resharpen blades for free and even exchanged my old Griptilian (in 440C) for one in 154CM.
Before you ask, Benchmade has excellent customer service and they are always able to "damaged" models for brand new ones.
