appendix with a side of meckel's. doc said I shouldn't lift anything 25+ lbs for 2-3 weeks. I've been doing crossfit for over a year now, and he was very vague on when I would be able to start working out again. he mentioned adhesion, scar tissue and that I should be careful to listen to my body.

I'm wagering someone in F&N had to go through similar situations before, and just wanted to know about your experience with recovery.

yeah i know crossfit gets shit around here, but recovery questions seem a bit more universal

I had something vaguely similar to an appendectomy, but on the other side. I was out of commission for 3 weeks and had to slowly ease myself back into it. Let pain be your guide.
