or wait until I finish all the quests on the main game?
In for answer. I still haven't beaten fallout3 and am gonna start playing it again soon.
Op Anchorage has some good gear but I'm not sure of the level requirement. The Pitt was kind of lame to me.
Dunno bout the others.
There's no sense in investing in the DLC now.. Beat the game first and if you're craving more then go for the DLC. Maybe it will even drop in price between now and then
I beat FO3 and really enjoyed it. I got the first 3 DLC and didn't even beat them
Do the DLC after.
Unless you wanna glitch and have a maxed out player with pretty much unlimited ammo then do OA first. But that would would kinda ruin the game IMO.
I'd do the main quest first, Broken Steel for the higher level cap next, and Point Lookout last since it's probably the hardest. Do the rest in whatever order you want.
If I did it over again, I'd only do BS for the level cap raise, and PL for the backwater rifle, which is one of my favorite guns in the game. Great for sniping. I'd get it as soon as I could.
lol in for you buying all the DLC and you not liking the game at all
get broken steel right away to break the level cap, and continue your game right after the ending (otherwise i hope you have some extra saves before the final encounter...)
the other ones get after you finish the broken steel game.
sell/trade your version in and then get the game of the year edition that comes with all the dlc addons.
I'm playing a shit ton of games simulataneously at the moment (L4D2, Torchlight, Beyond Good And Evil) but I really want to start Fallout with all the DLC installed. I lost my original save though.
i loved the game but only bought broken steel and point lookout. Load Broken steel before you beat the game though (or if you hit the level cap)
I might play through Fallout 3 again, such an epic game
There's still a couple of sidequests that I never managed to complete and all the DLC that needs completing
i plan on replaying it soon, this time as a bad guy. Missing out on ONE bobblehead in ravenrock has irritated me since last year
i still need to finish my 3rd playthrough with all the dlcs now
50 hours in, just can't break myself away from mw2 to play it
I ended up neutral somehow, last time i played
It's easy to be really bad but hard to be really good, I find.
I know my way around the fallout 3 world too well now though, it might be a bit boring playing through again
i was jesus the entire time i played but near the end i did something that caused me to go evil...i forget what it was though. is letting zombies into ten penny considered evil?
anyway, if you want to be good again just go to megaton and pay the priest near the meteor. it only costs like 500 caps to go from evil as shit to messiah
Yeah i let the ghouls in and it made me evil
I donated a fuckload to that crazy guy and nothing happened so I shot him and all his followers
the guy by the pond? It worked for me
And i don't think letting the zombies in should be evil
I dunno he was just talking shit all the time and when I donated money he was all like, "Thanks ", then nothing else happened
The ghouls kill like 30 people when you let them in, so that's probably why it's considered evil Fucking ghoul mask is the best thing I ever had in that game
weird...def worked for me Maybe i did something for them before that allowed it to change my karma
and yeah, the ghoul mask is > most
word, i would say dont bother with the 1st and last DLC the mother ship zeta & the anchorage one i think were the lamest. i didnt finish it. but the others were great.
I played a couple hours on this game, but I hate FPS fighting as crippled as this. I'm used to Halo, and this game is so clunky. Same with Oblivion. I don't mind an RPG just about exploration, but I hate trying to fight in F3 - I can never aim and weapons don't do much. I feel like I should try it again, but after Dragon Age I can't see myself enjoying a FPSRPG.
Dragon Age is choppy on the PS3 i was surprised
