The keg weighs 35 lbs empty, or is it heavier? The best thing to to is get a couple of kegs and keep one empty and to just do tosses with it. Tosses for height and/or distance. Then keep one loaded with water ( one gallon equals 8 pounds) then do clean and presses and snatches. Don't make the mistake of using your max barbell weight in the keg, because the water will be moving and adding some difficulty to the movement. You could even do thrusters (front squat into a standing press/power press/jerk), farmers walks, stone carries. If you progess past the weight water can give you add sand, or even sand and water. If you have extras, I'd love to get one.

Used to enjoy throwing them around in the cooler at the bar, was a good workout. Never did anything like a formal workout plan though.
