I just got 2GB of Kensington at newegg for $180. It's on sale, snatch that shit up!
I've gotten good reviews on it from my mug. Anybody have experience with kensington? good, bad?
For what model Mac?
g5 dual 1.8
oh yeah, it's 4x512 ddr400 pc3200
what model kingston was it?
...do you have the link to the page?
kingston != kensington, btw.
and corsair > kingston.
i just put in an order for 2 gigs. cant wait
Yeah, kingston whatever sorry. Well it's cheaper, and the same speed as corsair and has a lifetime warranty. I didn't really feel like paying more for no reason. It may be better somehow I guess I just can't tell the difference. I just put it in today and I'm running 8 tracks on Protools with like 3 effects on each track(just for shits), and a bunch of other programs open without a stutter.
I picked up a gig.
just got my 2 gigs today. runs pretty good so far. i was afraid it wouldnt be compatible like the previous sticks i've gotten from kensington. so far so good..and no kernal panics yet.
I'm told ther kingston ram is more reliable than corsair.
I don't know about all that.
