Just bought another C4, after having sent one away a few weeks ago after a BaT sale. I’ve known this car for a while. Helped the previous owner purchase the car. Then proceeded to build the engine.

Engine completely out to regasket, AFR heads, camshaft, 1.6 RR’s, ported intake, headers and other internal upgrades plus the Corsa.

Will put a few miles on it and then sell in May.

Where da pics at? :eek3: I thought you were a Porsche guy for some reason.

Been both, but love the Vettes. They are cheap, race them, wreck them and can buy another without blinking an eye. I was wanting to get back into a Porsche, but the prices went bonkers and the 997 GTS’s got way out of line.

In the summer, I’ll do a photo with all in the driveway.

This will give you an idea though

Love it. The C4’s have really grown on me and are aging really well imo. Solid cars for the money. Almost pulled the trigger on a white/red convertible last year. Should have bought it.

I grew up with c4's and all I can think about is how loose the chassis's seemed. Is my memory correct?

Someone in my parents neighborhood has a purple C4 ZR1 I’ve never seen leave the garage. Old couple, want to stop by and ask the guy to sell it to me based on color alone.

what does this even mean?
The suspensions on early cars were outrageously stiff, so much so that a magazine crashed one trying to load up the suspension for photos. That changed as time went on. The chassis weren't particularly stiff, so I assume this is what you mean? They had some flex for sure. Most vehicles introduced in 1984 did though.

Curious what OP thinks of chassis flex and if he does anything to remedy it.

I'm a big fan of the c4 but havn't driven one in ages. The lasting impression I have is the chassis being loose.
